stand alone diesel fuel dispenser

What classification would a stand alone diesel fuel dispenser(120V pump) fall under? This is a tank and pump assembly that is sitting in a lot approximatetly 100' from a commercial building.Not at all familiar with these installs. Thanks.

We wired the pumps for 10000 gal buried diesel tank. Our local fire marshal said no it was not a classified area but the state electrical division would consider it so. I asked our SED inspector and he said no it was not classified but the fire marshal may think otherwise. The owners were not concerned either way so we installed as if gasoline. Wasn't worth the trouble to chase down signatures.

There are containment and other regulations even on farms so adhere to those.

Make sure you talk to local AHJ and check on zoning regs. Rules are different.
