Standard Conduit Bodies

I find in the Appleton and OZ catalogs where their standard conduit bodies (Appleton 7, 8, 35, 85, etc.) LB's, T's are suitable for Class I, Div.2. Crouse-Hinds in their 2005 Code Digest specifies their Form 7, 8, 9, etc., some are suitable for Class I, Div.2; Class II, Div.2; or Class III, Div.1 & 2. Does any manufacturer make standard conduit bodies suitable for Class II, Div.1 ?

Re: Standard Conduit Bodies

This is an interesting question since the ?Group? directly affects the answer. For Group E, all boxes and fittings must be specifically identified for Class II. For all Groups, boxes or fittings containing some form of cable termination also need to be specifically identified for Class II. See 502.10(A)(1)(4).

In other groups and where the boxes or fittings don?t enclose "splices, taps, or terminations," they must only be dusttight, with threaded connections for conduit or cable connectors.
