Hi
I am using standard Load calc. to size the service for 18-unit apartm building.
(every unit has one heat pump , and gas stove)

Question is;
do i have to apply demand to HVAC load or include the HVAC load in general ltg/small appliance load that is subjected for demand found in 220-40 thru 220-61 ????

HVAC loads fall under either 220.14(A) or (C) as branch circuit loads. Part II for feeder and service load, no demand is assignable to the HVAC loads. However, 220.60 noncoincident loads may apply if some of the system will not be running at the same, e.g. heating vs. cooling loads.
