Can one standby generator feeds three separate buildings via one ATS or via (3) separate ATS (one ATS serves each building)? Each building has its own of normal power service / meter. Thank you.

You need three ATSs, given that each building has a separate normal source of power. Suppose only one building lost normal power. How would you use a single transfer switch to get the generator to power that building, while at the same time maintaining the normal power source connected to each of the other two buildings?

Forgot to mention, all three buildings are fed from same utility pad mounted transformer. From generator, can we feed a distribution panel via ATS then use that dist. panel to feed three separate branch panels, one panel for each building?

If you are OK with the limitations on maintenance of both normal and generator service (all three buildings shut down for most repairs) then the Code does not prohibit feeding three buildings from one service.
