This data sheet accompanied a A-B 509-BOD NEMA Starter.
You will not the reference to the SCGF protective device for this starter is for a 30 amp Class R Fuse or 50 amp Class J.
There is no breaker listed.

Does this indicate that the starter MUST have fuse protection and not C/B protection ?
