When I was in a Delaware hotel I noticed that Exit signs were mounted near the ceiling and floor. In Massachusetts that is not the case.
That got me thinking about other differences and amendments between the states.
Any feedback is welcome.
In Massachusetts 334.30 was amended to state ?Where the cable is run diagonally behind strapping of a nominal 19 mm (3/4-in) thickness it shall be considered supported, secured, and in compliance with 334.17 where it is not pulled taut.?
Personally I think that this type of installation is a mess, no pride in work.
In Massachusetts a new section 368.14 in part II of article 368 was added
?368.14(A) During Construction. Indoor busways shall be protected from moisture during storage as well as during or after installation..?
Temporary stringers with incandescent lamps installed in transformers and switch gear prior to installation and during storage works well with moisture issues. Not sure if that would work with busways.
