I'm calculating the electrical load for an apartment.
They want to use an 11 kw steam generator in the bathroom.
My questions are:
1. Would this be included as part of the appliance loads, section 220.53 of the NEC?
2. Assuming it's an appliance load, I'll have 5 total appliances. The other appliances are around 0.5 to1.6 KVA. Does it make sense to apply the 75% demand factor with the steam generator, since the steam generator is such a huge load compared to the other appliances?
