We have steel skid with two motors for boiler and the skid has two grounding connection. I want to know do I have to connect grounding to motors or the grounding of skid is enough, is it mentioned in NEC?

Note: the motors are connected by bolt to skid

You are required to ground the motors with the circuit conductors. 300.3(B)

The grounding connections on the skid are usually used to tie the skid to the grounding grid if the facility has one.

A bonding connection is required see 250.122
(K) Skid Mounted Equipment. Permanently mounted electrical equipment and skids shall be grounded with an equipment bonding jumper sized as required by 250.122.

Also see 250.134

While you are studying "gounding connections for motors it is also helpful to refer to Part XIII 430.241-245
