step down question

Have a lighting install we are proposing. Available power source is a 600 amp 480/277 3 phase ct cabinet. lighting will be 120v as well as a couple convenience receptacles. Question is this, Im aware of 3phase step down to 120/208 transformer but are there transformers for phase step down as well to convert 490 3 phase to 120/240 single phase or is it the same and you only bring to of 480v phases to the line side of the transformer. We only need a 50 amp capacity on load side max. Thanks for any input
 
You can use a single-phase 480 to 240/120 transformer and feed it with 2 phases of your 480v system.
Fairly common where the desired voltage is 240 rather than 208.
You can also find a 3 phase 480 to 240/120 transformer (delta with high-leg) but they normally have a reduced neutral capacity,
