Good afternoon,
Im looking at a set of drawings which shows a 112.5 kVA transformer (480--> 120/208). The load on the transformer is approximately 91 kW.
The transformer is protected on the secondary side with (2) 200A disconnects and the disconnects feed (2) separate 200A MLO panels. I have seen this arrangement in the past and dont really care to use it but anyway, my question is, how would the SSSBJ be sized? I know it is required to be sized per 250.30(A)(2), 250.102 (C) and then by using 250.66 which normally you would use the total area of the phase conductors for each set for parallel feeders but this is not a parallel feeder, it is essentially two different feeders for two separate panels therefore would it just be sized for the area of one of the conductors?
