Finally, getting around to this project now that all the funds have been raised by the Christian school, now that all the line locations have been landed. I took my measurements again. I’m going to end up at 500 feet and the transformer will be pulling approximately 56 A 125% of the 56 A would be 70 amp for my Main breaker. My disconnect will be 60 A at the transformer outside on the pad. My secondary disconnect will be 125 A. My calculations are calling for 4/0 for a one percent voltage strap. The entire scoreboard is LED with a replay screen, which is also LED replay They’re requesting as little voltage drop as possible for the 208 V board. Everything will be fed underground via directional, boring conduit, and then terminated through schedule 40 PVC into my disconnect in and out of the transformer and then to the panel board on the catwalk of the scoreboard am I overthinking it at the one percent or would I be OK at the 3% on the fence? I know I’m overthinking it which I typically do.
