I am inspecting a Northern California YMCA swimming pool that was built in 1971. Some of the metal drain grills and pool grab rails and climb out ladders are not bonded to an equipotential bonding grid. The 1969 NEC was in force at the time. Does anyone know what the bonding requirements were back then? Thanks to anyone who can help.

It is probably the 1968 NEC not the 1969 NEC. I haven't got mine handy but I know that the 1971 NEC would require all the items you listed to be bonded a solid copper conductor not smaller than No. 8 AWG. I think 480sparky will have his 1968 NEC handy.
