Storage cabinets for flammable material

Are these cabinets for storing flammable liquids ( wd40,paint thinners and others) considered to be in a classification .If they are or not should they at least be bonded.

probably not. in any case, why would there be any electrical equipment inside the paint storage cabinet?

probably. But it is just a means of dissipating static so it does not have to be an especially large wire. If it is sitting on a bare concrete floor that might be adequate, although a green wire tied to the building structure might make everyone feel better.

My guess is this would be covered by insurance company requirements as much as anything.

We have lots of these cabinets. From what I see they're just bonded...for the most part.

While most of them have a bonding termination, there is no code requirement to bond them.

As far as I know, not in any of the codes or standards that apply to flammable liquid storage cabinets.

I searched also and found nothing, except for some references to prevention of static electricity. I did not read them closely.
