OK, I have a panel out in the shop where I have a dedicated 125A breaker for applying temporary power to various machines as we build / test them. The cables are stored wound up on the wall and the breaker locked out etc.. When needed they are ran across the floor and covered with some steel channel..
The cable is 1/0 - 3C TC-ER cable. (tray cable). THHN/THWN
Now we want to mount some permanent disconnect boxes on columns in the work area for testing etc And get rid of the coiled up cables that end up lying across the floor.
I'll run RMC up and over then down the column to the disconnect etc,
My question, is there any rule against using tray cable inside RMC if I obey the fill limits ?
