Strapping PVC for pool panel

Just curious if there would be any issue with strapping schedule 80 PVC to a fence. The fence is permanent and I would have a couple of expansion fittings.

I don't see any reason not to. What kind of fence?

Just a basic cedar fence. I couldn't find anything in the code that said I couldn't but just wanted to make sure. I know you can't strap to trees and stuff so wasn't sure.
