Is it ok to strip outer casing of mc cable and slide it down a piece of EMT? I have a j box up in the attic with EMT running down the wall.
I realize some think the individual conductors are required to be marked, but that is not what is actually required. As long as the MC cable is marked as required, the jacket-stripped-off conductors are not required to be otherwise marked.Besides the proper transition fitting, do the stripped MC conductors comply with 310.120, 2011 NEC?
