Click to expand... I agree. If the engineer approves it I wouldn't worry about it. It's not the sparkys job to decide if the conduit will result in a structural defect.

Seven-Delta-FortyOne Goin’ Down In Flames........ Location Humboldt Occupation EC and GC Feb 23, 2024 #5 Any slab on grade will have conduits and dwv piping through the footing. Ive brought them up through footings before. I would avoid column footings though. Not sure if that’s a code issue.
