I am looking to get licensed in the next 6 months, I need to brush up on a few things, Does Mike holts Illustrated guide to electrical theory cover ohm's law in good detail, Any recommendations on a study guide?

I am still new to this myself. I am sorry. The Mike Holts NEC exam prep book and the simulated exam would be a big help. It helps you to get use to looking up the answers for the questions.

I too am looking to take the NJ test in the next few months. (waiting to hear back from board). last year i ordered mikes full ME package and i have been going through it and have found it helpful.The theory package has most of the ohm's law stuff, plus some good study aids. I'm finding the exam prep books very helpful as well w/ calcs and challenge quizzes.

thanks for the replies guys, i figured i would start from the beginning. would like to try and pass the test in one shot, we'll see
