Stupid Question!

Im bidding a job at the moment and on the plans it says:
Equipment conduit types: All EMT (No Flex Cable allowed)

Is MC Cable considered Flex cable?

Its located in the kitchen area of a new deli!
Appreciate any help you guy can give!

No, MC is not EMT.
Yes, MC is flexible.

If this is in SF, flexible wiring methods are not allowed in accessible areas. That's defined as exposed and under 8ft from floor or grade for residential, not quite sure if commercial is treated differently.
