Ran across this today while trouble shooting some street lights. This was installed by guys from our shop, inspected and passed.

Not how I would have done it. Spot the violations?

Looks like the pvc going into the pull box isn't installed securely. Assume there was no cover for the pull box since I don't see a screwdriver or cover laying next to your linemans.

I'd hate to see what a lawnmower or weedeater will do to the box.

Was there a cover installed? The screws are still on the box.
Yes there was a cover. Call me kooky but I always put the screws back in the threads while working so I can find them at the end of the day.

Hear that newbees?

I'm with you Chris I hate pulling at the grass to look for them.

Only to find they went home in someone else's pockets. Of course, they never make it back to the same job the next day.

Is the pullbox mounted to anything other than pipe?
Theres a 1/2" bolt with a nut inside. Don't ask me where that goes. I didn't have alot of time to spend there. I cleared the fault (capped of offending wire) so they could have light. I'll be back.
