Sub-metering

If you have a sub meter that comes part of a dist. board or panel there are CT's that come with or inside the board/panel that need to be wired, correct? Thanks.

They may be loose and need to be installed over the conductors or they may be built into the assembly so that they are permanently installed around a busbar that carries the current.
