Provided the depth and width space requirements are met, can a sub panel fed from a house loadcenter be installed in a detached outbuilding mechanical room that also has a sink base and toilet?
It's a feed that runs from the house load center, underground to the building, then under the building slab and comes up in the room in the center of the building.
I've made similar installs in past years with never an issue.
This job I get the following from the AHJ.
-Disconnect is required on the outbuilding exterior.(They aren't service conductors)
-Load center can't be in the room with a toilet and sink.(It's not a dwelling unit)
