Submersible Pump Wiring

Can THW cable be used for the power of submersible pump motor? NEC 680.51(E) does not give much information. Thanks

Not down the hole, but out to it.

Use pump cable.

UL lists a submersible pump cable, thats what most pump installers use.
Art 680 is swimming pools a more appropiate article would be 310-Conductors

We have a junction box in between MCC and submersible pumps.

Just to confirm, THW can be used from MCC to junction box, and then UL rated submersible pump cable from junction box to submersible pump. Is it correct?
