I know this topic has been visited a hundred times, but I need info please. Installing a new 100amp subpanel approx 130 ft from the main. Main is in the garage, sub will be on back corner of the house, outside. It will feed a pool heater and a jacuzzi. Each of these require a 50 amp breaker and literature states they will draw around 40 amps at full load. Question is 1. can I feed this sub with one 100 amp circuit and then feed each of these equipment with a 50 amp breaker at the sub, or do I need to run 2 separate 50 amp circuits from the main? 2. Given the answer to #1, what size wire do I need to run in conduit, 2 hots and a ground. No common. Thanks.
