Wasn't sure where to post this one but here 'tis:

I have an Esterline-Angus strip chart recorder in a main substation monitoring the bus for 13.8kV incoming lines.
It is monitoring from 120V secondary PT's.
This unit is purely analog and the voltage it is monitoring is the same voltage that powers the unit. Very simple system. However, I can't seem to find a suitable replacement since ours stopped working.
Just wondering what some of you folks may be using for the same or similar applications at your facilities.

Thanks,
Tim P.

Re: Substation Chart Recorder

I am note sure they make these anymore. The new type record electronically and you down load the information to your computer and then print the chart. We used to try to record events with this recorder but it was too slow.
