Suggestions for exterior lighting for non-profit?

We're going to be doing some lighting for an outside batting cage facility. It is covered above by the freeway but it is approximately 40' above and we will not be attaching to roadway structure. The cages themselves are about 40' long and 9 feet high. There are 8" diameter steel support posts on each corner of the cages and we can attach to those. We could also put posts in the ground. I'm wondering if anyone could suggest some cost effective lighting for this environment. There isn't much of a budget for this non-profit. When we did a similar facility indoors it was all LED and was very nice but was far from cheap.

Bury some 20' wood poles in the ground and buy some reasonably priced LED flood lights.
