I need to find an occ sensor that will nipple mount to the side of a fluorescent fixture, kinda like a high-bay warehouse fixture but will work at 7-8 feet?

Looking for advice/suggestions.
Thanks!

Lithonia makes a series like that rated 7-15’...
Part number CMRB 10
Mounts right to the fixture... I’ve used several and like them!

Occ sensors wired in parallel?

Occ sensors wired in parallel?

Customer is interested in having lights be operated from sensor switch when you come into an area from 2 different directions. Either entrance would turn on the lights.

One occ sensor can't be positioned to cover both entrances. One entrance is coming down set of stairs, he wants the lights to turn on when you get about halfway down the stairs. The other direction is while you're in the area, which is around the corner from the stairwell.

I am looking at the CMRB 10. I think it will work while a person is in the work space.
As a person comes down the stairs I was looking at a wall mount occ sensor switch, like Lutron or Levitron. But I am wondering how I can get the two sensors to both work together?

I'm wondering if the sensors could be wired in parallel so that whichever direction you come from will turn the lights on.

Input on this concept, or alternative ideas, would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Google it

Google it

FYI that is Sensorswitch, and Acuity brand company.

I had to google it, but got it figured out.
Where would we be without google !?

Now I’m just trying to figure out this parallel sensor scenario...
Google couldn’t tell me if it was possible...

There are a few ways to do this. You can use the sensor suggested and just wire the outputs in parallel, any time either one senses motion the lights will stay on for that sensor. Another way is to use one power pack (which is a relay and low voltage transformer combined and two low voltage sensors. Then the sensors just get a 20-3 cable class II run between them.
