Suitable Electrical Standards for NFPA Cl II Div2 Group G

Hi,

I was wondering if you could advise the suitable standards I need to identify on electrical components to satisfy NFPA Cl II Div2 Group G?

I'm based in the UK so would any ATEX standards be suitable?

ATEX is not recognized in US domestic installations. Where classified by Divisions, the basic standards for dusts are Sections 500 and 502 in the NEC and NFPA 499.

Many general purpose components are suitable/acceptable in Class II, Division 2. See NEC Section 500.8.
