In your opinion, what is suitably guarded inside an MCC bucket?
We have various MCC set-ups, some are older than others. Most are like the westinghouse/advantage buckets, where the breaker line side lugs are pretty much covered (the front of the breaker is shielded by the mechanism). For work on the starter or fuses, with the breaker off, would you consider this de-energized?
We have some older buckets where the front (the screws for the line side connections) is exposed. With the breaker off, in this situation, would that be considered energized? Because the front of the breaker has exposed screws? You can't fit a finger in there, but you could certainly fit a tool.
Thanks
