Article 240.10 states that "supplemental protectors or circuit protectors" shall not be used as overcurrent protection on branch circuits. NFPA 79 7.2.1.3 states the same. In a control circuit that does not have a overcurrent device on the secondary side of the control transformer, when is it permissible to use circuit protectors?

Re: Supplemental Proctectors 240.10

you can use them all you want to protect or isolate a specific device. you just can't use them as BC protection.
