Support of old work box

Hi Is it code compliant to use box holders (Madison straps) on a plastic old work box? The wings on the box are missing and still wanted to use the box. All comments welcome.

IMO no unless you can somehow bond the clips.

Take the box out and install the proper setup- everyone will be happier.
