There probably is codes outside the NEC that prevent that but the NEC prohibits supporting from electrical conduits, not supporting electrical from other systems. Having said that I bet Mcclary is right about it cause both sprinkler and fire alarms have their own codes and probably that is where you will find the prohibition.

Still no. "Associated system" would be, say, the heat trace tape you use to keep the water in the pipe from freezing. You might even get away with running the Protect-O-Wire on the pipe if it's for a preaction or deluge system, but I wouldn't hang my hat on that one.
