Supporting of Low voltage Wiring

When supporting low voltage wiring with approved methods, what is the appropriate spacing of the supports. I can not seem to find the code for the supporting methods of this type of wiring. The wiring is exposed in drop ceilings, attics, or crawl spaces. We usually use J-Hooks. Could someone help point out the code for me. I am in Washington State.

There is no code for what you are asking. Wiring in a dropped ceiling must be independently supported (not attached to the grid support wires) and cannot lay on the grid or ceiling.

Try the LNI.gov/scs/electrical site for WA State WAC296-46 if for the code adoption if any. I do not remember seeing LV wiring variances either. T-25 stapling is used for HVAC stat LV cable and Bellwire if that helps. rbj
