I was looking at a job today and noticed something that had me wondering.#1 Service conductors coming into the building from meter base, into a service disconnect with a 125amp breaker. The #1's were tapped with #1's before the breaker, they left the service disconnect enclosure straight into another disconnect with a 100amp breaker for a surge protector. After looking around it seems that this is compliant based on 230.82 (8). Surge protector was not installed as of yet. Dose this sound correct?
