Surgical Area Undercab Lighting

Good Morning Gentlemen
Is anyone aware of any special requirement for undercab lighting in surgical areas? My supplier mentioned some type of medical grade light with antibacterial finish is required?

This would not be an elecrical codes issue, it would be something governed by health care codes and standards.

Some people here that do work in these areas more frequently may know where to look for information on that.

It is possible that you can put in almost anything you want, but the user may have to deal with it differently vs installing something they desire to have. The easier it is for them to keep it sterile the happier they will be with it.
