Hello folks,

A client asked my team about suspended ceiling grid power distribution systems. We have never designed or specified such a system. Armstrong had a product line called the DC Flexzone, but one of there technical support specialists tell me it was discontinued in August 2019. Does anybody have any information or experience with these systems? Has anybody besides Armstrong developed a product for this? Please provide me with any information you can. Much appreciated.

Thanks.

When I was teaching code up date classes I covered this new article in the NEC, Art 393, Low Voltage Suspended Ceiling Power Distribution Systems. That article was new in the 2014 code. I recall there was an industry trade group called the Emerge Alliance here is the web site:
If you can't find a member there who makes ceiling products, then check with UL, in the White Book (product directory) search for the product listing and then find out who is making ceiling products.
Please post back what you find out
