Hello,

I've been browsing this website for a while and now have a situation on my hands that I think y'all could help me out with. First off, before someone attempts to put me 'on blast; due understand that I understand my limitations. I am not a electrician, I am just a restaurant repair person that knows a a little about everything in general restaurants. Most I do is outlets, 2x4 drop ins, wall packs, and the occasional running 120v/240v from breaker box to designed area. However though, a customer wants me to do a job that I am hesitant to accept as I'm personally never seen it done before but maybe you all have seen before as I am always open to a new job idea.
Job: The customer would like ceiling fans installed in a suspended ceiling. I told him the only way I will consider it is if he buys these: (link at bottom).
Now if I use the central chain as a main support (attached to building trusts) as well as supporting the two side edges ( steel wire (thickness similar to 12/10 AWG to trusts), do you believe that will be enough support for a 52 inch fan (no light, fan only).
Q2: The area is about 750 sq ft, he claims he would like 6 fans, I insist on 3 to prevent possible collapse but do you believe if I support it as said earlier that 6 fans could work?
Q3: I believe you would probably find these at a building warehouse, but what are the names of those supports the hook onto the building trusts and have a small loop that chicken wires and supports standard 2x4's?

Q4 (The one related to NEC): Is something like this allowed in commercial application as long as I use proper MC wire, support to trusts? And if you need to know building type, I do not know. Just know that it's a commercial restaurant.

Opinions would be great to hear
Thanks,
Jordan
