Where can I find info concerning EMT sizes and quantities that can be supported by a suspension wire installed solely for the purpose of conduit support.

Don't think I've ever seen conduit supported by a suspension wire. Threaded rod and a hanger or a Kindorf or Unistrut rack is how it's done.

I have never done this and hope I am not asked to.

But Caddy (Erico) sells EMT to drop wire supports.

They show 3/4" EMT on 12 AWG dropwire and 1 1/4" EMT on 8 AWG dropwire.
