Swimming pool bonding

I am preparing to install a salt water chlorinator to an in-ground pool. The control box has a lug that says should be bonded to the pool. The pool has a pump and a light and all the related electrical equipment was inspected by the city.

So I presume all the electrical equipment is "bonded." How then do I find a connection to hook up the chlorinaotr control box to the existing bond?

Would driving a copper rod in the ground suffice to hook the chlorinator to the rod?
