What size why would you run for this heat pump? And what circuit breaker size and doesn't need to be GFI protected?

Please review your question and see if some info is missing. Look at the unit--we have no isdea.

No gfci is needed.
 
My answer is to run a conductor with an ampacity equal or greater then the MCA on the nameplate, and an overcurrent device in accordance to whatever nameplate calls for.

GFCI protection is not required unless the unit would have instructions that say so.
