Swimming Pools and extension cords

Local swimming pool installer recommends to it's customers that they run the pool from an extension cord "temporarily" until they can get a qualified electrician to do the job right.

And how many remain that way rather than spending additional money for an electrician? They are really doing a disservice by suggesting that kind of thing. I would just say hire a EC to compete the electrical before you can use it. That way if the customer runs it with an extension cord and somebody dies it's not your problem.

The proper way is to include the electrical in the original price then sub out the electrical.
