I'm not sure I understand the question but if you are referencing the pool equipotential bond, there is no requirement for the pool equipotential bond to connect to the electrical system bonding.
(In fact in some classes I have taken it is discouraged.)

do you mean direct to electrical gnd, or to a gnd spike where both electrical gnd and pool bonding are connected?

i am curious, i have a few gnd spikes around my spa where spa frame and ground mesh are bonded and tied to gnd spike, i also have another gnd spike right next to spa disco+breaker panel and these metal panels are tied to the gnd spike, but i plan to tie the two gnd spikes together. is this a bad idea?? if so why.
