They only specified the dsw-301. Your saying we’d need the dsw-302??Use the center diagram and that model. I would use the neutral that you have available.
Yes, if you want that one switch body to control both. Otherwise two of the 301.They only specified the dsw-301. Your saying we’d need the dsw-302??
Yeah I don't really see why a night light would be so easily switched as it will surely be turned off every time someone shuts the other lights off on this switch. The most I would do with night lights is label a breaker rated for switching incase someone needed to work on them or wanted to shut them off for a long holiday or something. On the jobs I've done, a "night light" fixture is one that is always on--not switched.
I say the 301. This is no different than using a standard switch. They only specified the dsw-301. Your saying we’d need the dsw-302??
Yeah but in OP he said they are both controlled by the switch.I say the 301. This is no different than using a standard switch.
As I see it, the night light is simply wired ahead of the switch (black and neutral), and the switched light is wired after it (red and neutral).
I know, but as Electromatic said, night lights are normally unswitched.Yeah but in OP he said they are both controlled by the switch.
