switch top receptacles

This is not a code question, but help with trouble shooting. I have three switch top receptacles all in seperate rooms and on seperate arc fault breakers and seperate 12/2 homeruns. When I have the switches off I have 48 volts on the switched part of the receptacle. What to do?

Are you using a digital multi-meter?
If so, I suggest you try an analog voltmeter and see if the voltage is still there.
