Switchboard Enclosure as a Raceway Support

Can a switchboard be used to support raceways entering its top? We have an installation where the contractor fabricated a conduit support system to support the conduits within 3' of entering the switchboard and the means of supporting the support system is that is spans the width of the switchboard section and is supported by the structure of the switchboard enclosure.

I seem to recall that raceway cannot be supported by an equipment enclosure, but cannot find it in my scouring of the code.

Any help?
 
There is nothing in the NEC that specifically prohibits a switchboard enclosure from supporting raceways.

It would be up to the AHJ to approve the support.
