Swivel covers

Swivel covers, in addition to electrical, I am to install the conduit for security and fire alarm, the FA guy wants his AV strobes suspended by conduit with these swivel covers, the camera guy wants the same, they said 1/2" or 3/4" conduit,,

I'm unclear on code for using this swivel cover and EMT to suspend another box 8-10ft down so they can mount their fixtures to,

I am fairly sure EMT is not allowed for this application. Rigid pipe is required I believe some where in 314.2X

EMT cannot support a fixture or other equipment.
