I haven’t seen these in stores for years. They were the best floods UMHO. Easy to install & the sockets easily swiveled to any position. No fumbling with locknuts & set screws. They did need better weatherproofing, as I have seen some rust out.

While not exactly the same, there are outdoor lampholders with a ball swivel type position adjustment. Look at Raco LTS100

Saw it on a Van Meter website. Yes, looks good. No local supplier has had these to my knowledge. I sure would have bought them.

I see them around here

But always thought were designed for dry locations

I don’t recall the labeling on them but you may have a point. They had no rubber gaskets & may not have mounted well to a bell box. We didn’t see as many bell boxes in the 70’s. We flush mounted these lights to cut in octagon boxes or surface mounted pancake boxes if under a soffit.
