I have 3 synced generators with OCPD of 1000 amps, paralleled three 500MCM cables from each generator to a 3000/2500 MCB @ MDP. I have calculated a 400MCM EGC for each set of cables from generator based on the 3000/2500 MCB. The ground electrode and main bond jumper I?m not sure about. Should the sum of the 3 sets of parallel conductors determine the size 6.3657 SQ inches = 500MCM. Would the 500MCM also be the size of ground ring conductor?
