System Neutrals

I have a question concerning neutrals from separate systems in the same wireway. I have two 45KVA transformers feeding two separate 102/208V panelboards. Each panelboard feeds separate lighting and receptacle circuits. My inspector stated the neutrals must be different colors per article 200 of the 2005 NEC. The installation is in an industrial metal interlocking building. This will be located within a plant. I don't see why the neutrals must be a different color for a lighting ckt from panel 1 vs the lighting ckt from panel 2. Yes, they are two separate systems but of the same voltage. (120Vac) Is this inspector correct? Art 200 starts - All premises. This is an industrial building.

IMO the inspector is correct that the neutrals of separate systems must be identified.

You want know which neutral is which.

No, not really true. I have my 1999 book here at the office and it's in there.

(d) Grounded Conductors of Different Systems. Where conductors of different systems are installed in the same raceway, cable, box, auxiliary gutter, or other type of enclosure, one system grounded conductor, if required, shall have an outer covering conforming to Section 200-6(a) or 200-6(b). Each other system grounded conductor shall have an outer covering of white with a readily distinguishable different colored stripe (not green) running along the insulation, or other and different means of identification as allowed by Section 200-6(a) or (b) that will distinguish each system grounded conductor.
