In absence of a known material(s), methane (Group D, 630?C) and hydrogen sulfide (Group C, 260?C) are presumed. Methane is usually the dominant component of all the volatile material in sewer gases, but it?s the hydrogen sulfide we smell. How would you get t ratings on lights in a wastewater plant where the hazardous gas is not known ? Any hazard can enter the area. Is there t ratings on any other equipment we need to worry about ?
Thanks
